- Prepare ingredients and food items under the direction of the Head Chef and kitchen leadership team.
- Wash, peel, cut, portion, and organize fresh produce for daily kitchen operations.
- Trim, portion, and prepare meats according to recipe and kitchen standards.
- Assist in preparing simple menu items such as salads, breads, sauces, dressings, and condiments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Support receiving and kitchen operations by assisting with unloading, inspecting, and properly storing deliveries and supplies.
- Assist with daily cleaning responsibilities and deep-cleaning projects to ensure kitchen cleanliness and efficiency.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment while supporting overall kitchen operations as Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
- Basic knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety practices, or the willingness to learn quickly.
- Understanding of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen procedures preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently and remain organized in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
