- Prepare menu items according to established restaurant recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperatures and completed in a timely, efficient manner during service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation, including routine daily cleaning and scheduled deep-cleaning tasks.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock monitoring and supply ordering as needed.
- Support the development of new menu items, seasonal specials, and recipe enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure guest orders are prepared accurately and delivered promptly.
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Solid understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper kitchen practices.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to perform precise, efficient knife work and handle kitchen tools safely and consistently.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar culinary role, preferably within an Italian or full-service restaurant environment.
- Food handler training is preferred.
